and thanks for taking the time to look and maybe comment on some of my pictures . A little about myself. I am a 63 year old Brit living in Norway since late 1993. Married for the past 29 years to my Wife Eli. We have a son and a daughter. My Photographic interest started when I was young. However it didn’t really get going until the mid 80’s and since then has continued. I shot mostly film until recently when I purchased a Nikon D800. I have however kept my film cameras as at least 3 of them I have always wanted to own and I haven’t got the heart to sell them.
A Foot note to the above:
Don’t go to a party and get drunk and leave your rucksack with your D800 and 24-70 on the tram. I did, and I really miss my D800 not to mention the lens.
My current cameras are:
Leica Q2 Monochrom
Hasselblad 203 FE
Vermeer 6X17 Curved Plane Pinhole camera
Summilux 35 mm f1.4 ASPH
Summicron 90MM f2.0 APO ASPH.
Summilux 50mm f1.4 ASPH
Nikkor 20mm f2.8 AIS and a
50mm f1.8E and a
100mm f2.8E.Nikon 14
Nikon 14-24 f/2.8G ED AFS
Nikkor Z 24-70 f/4.0
Carl Zeiss Distagon CFE 40mm f/4.0 FLE
Carl Zeiss Planar 80mm f2.8 FE
Carl Zeiss Planar 110mm F2.0 FE
This list may seem that I’m only interested in the gear. However The image is the most important thing whatever it is captured with.
Thanks for your time :0)
Please have a look at my Photostream on Flickr and feel free to leave coments here on my blog or on Flickr.

Hi Graham it’s been a while hasn’t it. Not sure if I should post my email here. I’ll be in touch.
You seem to have a lot of Nikons. I’m a Nikon user too ^^ I love your blog, it’s inspiring, especially for a n00b like me. 🙂
Thanks. When you get to my age .You’ll maybe have a lot aswell :0)
I can remember you, David, because “kilt” translates to “killed” in USA Southern rural dialogue. I suppose I’ve heard the past tense as “kilted”, but I don’t recall. I am taken with your b/w photographs, of course. As you have undoubtedly observed, I am not a photographer, but I like to play at it. Thank you for your kindness in visiting me. I look forward to enjoying your posts here!
I’m defiantly alive and kicking. Kilted comes from my use of the Kilt.
Of course. Why didn’t I understand the origin of it? May I suggest that you link your blog and other social networking perches to your Gravatar? I had to Google “kilted1” to find you. People can click on your
Gravatar and access your blog immediately. (It was worth the search effort, by the way…)

Your photographs are wonderful! I look forward to seeing more your work.Thank you too for visiting Move the Chair. I appreciate you taking the time to look.
Really interesting reading about your progression and acquisition through cameras a great read! I too have dreamed of owning a Blad and was actually lucky enough to be lent a 500cm for a few months – that camera convinced me to get one one day, but will do more research as to which one now! Thanks for such an informative post.
Ps- I love the conversions of your monowork rich and punchy that have presence. You are at home with street and people, it shows;)
Wondering how you would feel about me using your image for a school production poster? It is the image of the Sanitorium Exterior in black and white. I am from a High School in Melbourne, Australia and we are doing a school play of Dracula. Love your image and we would be able to pay small fee and we would acknowledge you as the artist of the image. Please let me know how I can send you a personal message with our contact details. Thanks,
