Tied Up II

20150223-untitled shoot-5

Another shot in the same vain from my recent trip to Denmark. You can see the other I have posted here.

Victor takes a break…

a well earned one. Since I purchased my Leica M9P last summer that is the camera that has been getting all my attention. Not that I wanted it that way it has just became my go camera . However. Very time I open the freezer at home I have to move a large amount of film around to get to other things. I just can’t let it all just sit there.  With that in mind I was invited to Denmark for a weekend party. So I decided to take my Hasselblad and one lens and two film backs. In addition I took my M9P and one lens too. But didn’t take it on the day I wanted to go the the harbour in the local town. I wanted to use my Hasselblad. Anything else would have been a distraction. In the short time I had I shot 4 rolls of T-max (three 400asa and one 100 asa). In the middle I went to the pub or Kro as they say in Denmark. This is todays picture . However there will be more to follow.

One that got away from my trip to the Netherlands. I like to re-visit shots. I find that by doing this that I haven’t been swayed in my opinion by my mood at the time.

Bulls EyeI took this shot while visiting a friends farm where they raise Charolais cattle. This is a close -up cropped shot. Taken with my Leica M9P and the Summicron 90mm f2.0 ASPH lens I have which is a little underused . However is my go to portrait lens. I decided to crop quite heavily  with the eye as an anchor point to give the shot more impact. I think I have achieved what I wanted to do. I would be nice to read what you think dear reader.

2014 in review: Start the year with a little History

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 6,200 times in 2014. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 5 trips to carry that many people.
