Outdoor Theatre In The Rain

My son was appearing in a local theatre play based on the local history of an old iron works. The play “Magdalene og Verket” – Året 1777.” is still being developed and we only saw what is highlights .The whole play will be finished hopefully in 2014.
Just before the actors took the stage it began to rain. Which suited the first scene as it was a funeral procession. The rain then stopped . It could not have been planned better.

I took my MP along loaded with Rollei RPX400 I shot at 400iso and developed the film for 8 mins in Adox Adonal 1+25. I scanned the negatives on my Epson V700 using Silverfast SW.

It didn’t take long before they started clowning around. They were a lot of fun to shoot.

From Previous shots
It’s been a busy week on the work and personal front this week so I haven’t had much chance to write much .I would, however like to share this with you all.
On Sunday at a family party I had the pleasure of meeting and having the chance to photograph Torolf Nordbø and his wife Marit. For you non-Norwegians Torolf is best known for his comedy revue work and his music. They have kindly allowed me to publish a couple of the pictures I took of them, and I have linked to a music video starring Torolf ,and well-know Norwegian singer songwriter Rita Eriksen
A big thanks to Torolf and, Marit for being such great sports.

Enjoy the video

Norway’s National day. Celebrated with brass bands and children’s parades. It’s a chance for everyone to dress in their national dress or Bunad. In this shot my wife is on the left, standing with a friend wearing Buskerud Bunad. My Mother-in-Law has sewn and embroidered both of these dresses by hand some years ago.
