Beetle Down
The Greenhouse Effect.
Ever wondered what would happen if some seeds from that bun or bread you ate while driving got stuck beyond your hoovers reach when you cleaned the car?
Years later you get this…no not really this is just nature taking over in the junkyard. The cars act like small greenhouses warm and moist. This is the result.
VW. Here Comes The Sun
I think this shot is one of my fav’s from the day. A cold and frosty start and then the sun breaks through the trees just as I line up this shot of a VW jigsaw. It felt like magic.
BTW. All the selective colouring on this shot and the previous ones is done using Silver Efex pro 2 (Pre-Google).
If you like you can catch up with my other shots from the car cemetery here:

VW .Derelict Beauty
Yet another Decaying split screen VW van caught my eye. This one is complete with it’s own botanic gardens.
Old Friend
Old Friend on Flickrit was like meeting an old friend that is not doing so well. I took this shot two years ago Seems strange to get emotional about a such things. However when I wander around a place like this I get the occasional lump in my throat and I have to move on to the next motive
Ford (Un)Popular
Car Cemetery II
Looking like some big weird friendly animal chewing the grass this vehicle lies in the frosty grass wasting away.
Car Cemetery (Re visit)
Two years on I got to re-visit this wonderful scrap yard in Sweden. This is just a taste of things to come.
Ford Prefect.
I wanted to show the contrast . The top shot was a beautiful extample of this British classic at Netley Marsh Rally 2013.
The Ford Prefect at the bottom was shot at a car cemetry in Sweden. Left to just rot away when Sweden changed to driving on the right on the 3rd of September 1967.
