Another shot taken on my recent trip to York in the UK. These guys really made a great noise. I loved the guys on the rights hair.
…And This One
This weeks contribution to Monochromia
Least we forget. I was in York England during Rememberance Sunday and caught the parade in the streets. Here is one of my favourites. Here we see a veteran explaining his medals to his granddaughter.

A shot from York I shared at Monochromia
It’s not been all work and no play this past couple of weeks . I’ve been travelling to the UK. While there I have managed to take a few shots and some of them may turn up here over time.
Meet Paul Henry Kiltmaker, and all round good fellow. Here I caught him reading just before we set off for a walking tour of York in the UK.

Oswald
I met Oswald when in the UK recently. He saw me taking shots on the market and came over to chat. His wonderful Caribbean accent fascinated me. He like myself had also lived the Southampton in the 70’s and 80’s so we had a great chat about what it was like then. At the end he graciously allowed me to take a couple of pictures of him. A wonderful meeting.
I got on the wrong side…
of the camera
I’m not sure if this was shot by the wife or my daughter. Still it looks like me :0)
I take tons of photos during the course of a year.Maybe not as many as a pro does but more than average (Unless we count teenagers with cell phones). My point is, do you like being photographed ? I’m not sure if I do not one on one anyway I don’t mind if I’m part of a group.
