Two years ago I visited Stonehenge. I’ve been there many times. I used to go to school in the local village way back in the 70’s. The morning crossword
Todays Shot shows that you don’t have to travel any great distance to get a great shot. I took this at the kitchen table. My wife doing the crossword. What makes this shot for me is the light and the slight movement as she raises the mug.

Electric Chair
One of my favourite subjects besides people.I love to photograph dereliction and abandoned places and things or Urban exploration as it is better known.
This is one of my favourites from a series I did over two visits to a local abandoned psychiatric hospital. I’ll share some more soon.
Picture wise this was taken with a tripod mounted Leica MP with a 20mm Nikkor 20mm lens via a Novoflex adapter using Ilford XP2 .The negative was scanned on my Epson V700
The Salt Merchant
Just to show that I do take the occasional colour shot I offer you to start one of my favourite casual portrait shots taken at a local Viking market. This wonderful Danish Gentleman was selling smoked salt.I asked if I could take his picture and this was the result. As the market is only every other year I had to wait two years to give him a print.

The Reader
One of my all time favourite shots Taken a while back while having lunch in Bergen.
I took the shot between the shoulders of the two friends sitting opposite me. I love the way the light fell on her hair and hand.
