While waiting outside a shop for my wife I was suddenly surrounded by a bus load of Japanese tourists. A very lively bunch they moved around me effortlessly to their next destination. I felt like a diver surrounded by fish.I became so fascinated by standing in the middle of the group that I forgot about my camera for a few moments. I only managed two shots as they moved off. But that little ladies face on the left made this picture for me.
T-Max 100asa which had expires in 1997. Exposed at 50 ASA and stand developed in Caffenol C L for 1 hour and 10 mins at 20˙C(What can I say I’m lazy and wanted to watch the Giro d’Italia at the same time:0). Gentle inversions for the first minute and then three at the half way point.
I used the following recipe:
500 ml Water
8g Washing Soda (Stabil from Menu)
5 g Vitamin C (Santa Maria )
20g Instant coffee (first price gut rot)
0,5 g KBr
Scanned with an Epson V700 with Silverfast SW

I think I’m turning Japanese, I think I’m turning Japanese … I really think so. That is going to be stuck in my head for the rest of the day! 🙂
Thanks. It’s been on my playlist for a while now. Just thought I’d pass it on ;0)
