As My Car Cemetery shots are popular here is the full series so far. I’m planning a return visit somtime this year.
A collection of shots from my trip to Båstnäs in Sweden to photograph the Car cemetery there. The shots are both Analogue and digital. Camers used include a Nikon F4s with a Nikkor 20mm f2.8 a Leica MP with a 35mm f1.4 ASPH and, an Apple iPhone 4.
To Give you some idea of just how long this VW has stood here look at the wing mirror grown into the tree. The arm has rotted away you can still see the impression..
An old Swedish Postal Service van slowly rots away. I used Color Efex Pro 4 in post on this one. I fell in love with this shot so I thought I’d share it :0)
Welcome to the Car Cemetery.
Just over an hours drive from my home, just inside the Swedish boarder lies one of the most fascinating places I have been. A Car scrap yard which has become a Cemetery since everything has been left to nature.
To begin the series I thought This iPhone shot would make a great start.
Todays shot is from the same abandoned hospital as the wheelchair shots earlier.When I first saw this shot while scanning I saw the light falling on the cushion of the chair and fell in love

One of my favourite subjects besides people.I love to photograph dereliction and abandoned places and things or Urban exploration as it is better known.
This is one of my favourites from a series I did over two visits to a local abandoned psychiatric hospital. I’ll share some more soon.
Picture wise this was taken with a tripod mounted Leica MP with a 20mm Nikkor 20mm lens via a Novoflex adapter using Ilford XP2 .The negative was scanned on my Epson V700
